Since incorporation in 1983, Universal Medical has experienced a number of product, process, marketing and technology changes!
Our original product catalog was printed in black and white with a total of 24 pages. At the time, our product offering was in two categories: X-Ray and Orthopedic Supplies. By its final printing in 2008, our catalog had expanded to be 273 full color pages and offered items in product categories such as Radiation Protection, Operating Room, Anatomical Models, Clinical equipment, Filing supplies and more!
This final printing would go down in history as our largest marketing campaign in our 25 year history - it would also mark the end of an era. Our printed catalog was permanently retired and replaced with our online catalog late that same year.
In 2010, Universal Medical's website underwent a complete re-design allowing product marketing, searching and order placement to become even easier. Our product catalog was also expanded to include approximately 4500 unique skus. Our product offering and technology growth allowed Universal Medical to expand - in more ways than one! A number of new employees were hired and in 2012 our corporate headquarters moved into a 3,300 square foot office facility in Norwood, MA.
We are thrilled to report that we continue to partner with many of the same customers and suppliers since our inception 32 years ago. It is these valued relationships that Universal Medical strives to continue to foster. Thanks for making our story a success!
